the process of seeking and receiving
extramural funding.

the Pre-Proposal Stage:

identifying funding sources

writers, procurement data and templates
for proposal development

Consultation regarding
strategies for increasing programmatic
funding

Coordination among
departments, schools, and colleges for
major funding opportunities

the Proposal Development Stage:

Consultation regarding
funding opportunity guideline
interpretation and review

General proposal review

Assistance in developing
and structuring budgets

Liaison among all
internal and external program offices

the Pre-Award/Submission Stage:

Review of proposals and
budgets for format and compliance issues

institutional sign-offs required by
