Expanding Pilot Projects into Lucrative Installation and Maintenance Contracts

 

Our client was an expert in permiter security and had strong RFID/survelliance capability/past performance.  In our meetings with the Defense Logistics Agency we discovered a need for RFID tagging of equipment in their distribution centers to minimize loss and misplacement of warehoused items.

 

Working with our client engineers, HW was able to sell the idea of a pilot project to the government.  This pilot was a success and lead to a full installation contract of RFID active tags into several DLA warehouses and distribution centers.  Our client now has a RFID division that has expanded its scope of services into other military applicaitons, healthcare inventory control, and state/local property management offices.
