Leveraging Small Business Machining to Secure Contracts for NASA Space Craft Parts.

 

Our client was a small maching shop in Huntsville, AL seeking to expand its market base into Federal agencies.  Seeing that the location was in close proximity to NASA's facility in Huntsville, and that the company could offer quality maching capabilities for smaller parts at discounted pricing - Hunter Wellman sought out larger product integration vendors at NASA to secure subcontracting opportunities.  

 

The result of our efforts was the aquisition of 4 subcontracts to provide machined parts to NASA prime contractors.  These contracts transfomed our client from a mom and pop machining shop into a major contributor to NASA product development.
