RESEARCH/PROGRAM SUPPORT

 

The Hunter Wellman University Grant, Contract, and Sponsored Research Acquisition Support Department provides a range of services to Universities at all stages of the process of seeking and receiving extramural funding.

 

At the Pre-Proposal Stage:

• Provide assistance in identifying funding sourcesProvide technical writers, procurement data and templates for proposal development

• Consultation regarding strategies for increasing programmatic funding

• Coordination among departments, schools, and colleges for major funding opportunities

 

At the Proposal Development Stage:

• Consultation regarding funding opportunity guideline interpretation and review

• General proposal review

• Assistance in developing and structuring budgets

• Liaison among all internal and external program offices

 

At the Pre-Award/Submission Stage:

• Review of proposals and budgets for format and compliance issues

• Assistance with institutional sign-offs required by sponsoring agency

• Detailed budget assistance as neededAssistance with electronic and traditional submission processes
